Familiar Glow was created around a simple idea — some memories have a smell.

Freshly cut grass after school. Coffee brewing on a Sunday morning. Someone’s aftershave in the hallway. The smell of Nanna’s crumble coming from the kitchen.

They’re ordinary moments you probably didn’t think much about at the time — until one familiar smell brings the whole thing flooding back.

That feeling is what Familiar Glow is all about.

Founded by Natalie and Rebecca, two school-mum friends, Familiar Glow turns the memories we grew up with into nostalgic candles and wax melts.

Every fragrance starts with a familiar moment — from Duvet Day and Mum’s Sunday Morning Coffee to Schools Out For Summer and Bonfire Night.

Even the memories you'll find on our products are real childhood memories from one of us.

Because the same scent means something different to everyone. Our memory might be the school field on a summer afternoon. Yours might be Dad mowing the lawn or playing outside until tea time.

MADE BY US IN ESSEX

Every Familiar Glow candle and wax melt is poured, painted, finished and packed by us in Essex, using carefully selected premium waxes and fragrance oils.

From cassette tapes and VHS-inspired snap bars to the nostalgic icons inside our wax melt pouches, we take the things we remember and reimagine them for our homes today.

Nostalgic, yes. But very much grown up.
